I can't speak for everyone but most of these posts, including mine, seem to be from people who have maybe 50 CB belts, or 50 LS/GLS, etc., waiting to turn-in at the quest giver. It might give me 1 level, maybe 2 if I'm lucky (that Ranger exp penalty is real). Nothing significant, just trying to play the game as it was intended.
Now lots of us are stuck in a limbo of: do I wait longer and play an alt in the meantime even though I really want to play my main character, or do I run all the way back to the bank to re-organize everything (again) just so I can start playing my main again? Running back on my Ranger without SoW from the gypsy camp all the way to Qeynos isn't trivial, and it would be annoying to do that just to have the Devs turn back on quest exp.

If you're committed to playing by the rules and are doing "nothing significant" you should be okay, but be careful if you play by the rules and try to do do "something significant."
I say double down. Got 50 GLS? Go make it 100. Got 1200 scrolls, go make it 2400. Let's go!!!
