I didnt quote zuranthiums post and now its gone!

For the sake of argument Id like to offer a contrary opinion on inheritance.

Say there are 2 families, both have kids.

One family decides to spend all their money on vacations, and fancy homes and healthy foods. They watch movies and buy toys for their kids and have a wonderful family unit!

The other family is super strict, and saves all their money, they invest with it, and buy discount everything, their lives are super dry in comparison.

The parents of both children over time pass away.

The kids that had the great childhood see the other kids that have a great adult life because of all the saving and investing their parents did, and are like, "YOOOOO how come you have 2 properties?! I want one, that aint fair! They just GAVE that to you! You didn't earn it"

Idk, think about it. Both families had the same opportunities, they just chose "how to spend their time" and one chose to sacrifice joy now, for security in the future.

You yourself said money is a social fabrication. I agree. Time is the real currency, and it can only be spent or saved to be passed on to your children in the form of currency.

Which means I think it's not fair to say that other's owe you theirs.
