Also guys, there seriously are almost no white supremacists in the country. Like, almost none. And everyone hates them. They are a fringe joke with absolutely no power. Let it go, you're living in a paranoid delusion if you believe this, seriously. I'm concerned about you if you live this way. It's a buzzword that has oozed into your brain by osmosis.

The Nazi Party, too, was a fringe group before rising to power at the hands of a leader who was nationalistic, jingoistic, denigrated immigrants and other races, attacked the free press, attacked the judiciary, and trumpeted aggressive law enforcement. I think it's perfectly reasonable to want to curb stomp these groups out of existence. Our president, in failing to eloquently and concisely denounce white supremacy during the live debate, unwittingly boosted the national profile of a white supremacist group.
