Completely absurd. Please tell me the republican who said there's "nothing wrong with being a nazi" and what they specifically said?

Trump has denounced white supremacists like millions of times, the proud boys aren't nazis they aren't even headed by a white person. They're goofy frat bros who like america. If the proud boys come to my town and march around with american flags, I'm not worried. If antifa does, tons of innocent people will likely be hurt and innocent businesses burned. This democratic gaslighting is reaching ever greater heights. "No no, what you see with your own eyes isn't true. Please ignore the gigantic 100-days long rioting being perpetrated specifically by left wing actors in cities governed by left wing politicians. The proud boys are the real problem!"

And\or "Trump attempting to do something about it escalation!!" Like uhh I think the escalation begins with the people looting and burning and beating. I dunno. I feel they may have escalated by being actual terrorists.
