The real problem wasn't the writing; it was the cinematographic language. Most movies in this festering culture sell cars, black guys and coca cola (above your head); this one sold the unclothed bodies of children. A number of match cuts come to mind which deliberately drew attention to children's body parts. I am not a genius and this was not exactly subtle; in fact I would argue you are a complete fucking retard if you didn't catch it. Do not breed or vote.
Again, I believe they were intentionally doing "pedo male gaze" as a deliberate "horror" thing, which I think is in awful taste since it doubles as porn for pedophiles. It was also outrage fuel to sell the movie. I understand that this is way beyond most of you at every single turn.
anyway Stephen King is fine.
