I played a shaman for years on classic and the only spells I ever cast in groups were str and haste and I was beloved by all. Seriously I would get tells later like man you're the best shaman I ever played with. That's because I understood my role in a group, which was to maximize DPS and otherwise keep myself fm just in case things went south. I never cannidanced in a group. Ever.
