If they taxed Bezos for 100% of his portfolio (which would crash Amazon's stock and a huge number of other companies dependent on Amazon for distribution) that would be 490$/citizen; hardly enough to make the country a better place; it wouldnt even get the junkies out of tent city.

Nah you're right, don't tax rich people because it's not worth it. Just take the money from people who need it.
