Ive personally never heard of this. Almost Every single time I was farming seafuries there was either a mage with epic pet grabbing multiple seafuries or a druid/wizard quad kiting multiple furies.

Never bothered me on my Melee shaman face tanking (it sounds absurd but is absolutely effective if geared right not to mention really fun). Nor my necro fear kiting. Nor my SK fear kiting. Nor my enchanter charming the dwarf (much to many people's dismay).

The only thing that was bad form was a druid/wiz/etc wanting to quad for but only having 3... and looking for the 4th before starting.
