Bullshit, and you said it yourself. It's about responsible teaching. Sometimes the only thing that will have the appropriate impact is a reasonable amount of physical reinforcement.

Please note the use of the words sometimes, appropriate, and reasonable. This does not mean beating a kid into fear or the hospital.

Physical reinforcment is not responsible teaching. It is the last resort of those who do not know how to deal with a child. Again i have NEVER hit my children and 2 of the 3 are grown men who are good productive members of society
the 3rd is only a small child still and he will never be hit in any manner by me or my wife for discipline. Violence in any form is never the answer
