Anyways, as I was saying, if we didn't have as many fragile self-centered people who can't fathom that the world doesn't revolve around them, we'd be fine. Maybe, one day, America can actually be great again if we had an educated population with proper support and an economy that isn't so brittle that literally a month of shutdown doesn't completely collapse the system.

Instead, we have the most cases and the most deaths in the world.

Literally all you have to do to hobble this virus is put on a fucking mask and stay out of huge crowds for a couple months and we can't even do that because of the "Jesus will protect me from the virus" crowd that infests this country.

America never was great and never will be. We got really rich for about 60 years because our economy wasn't destroyed in WW2 but we were never more than a glorified South Africa. We have always lacked the social cohesion and civic trust essential to running a modern civilization.
