At least they're doing something. If you're not protecting your eyes at least you covered your mouth and nose. IMO the eyes are not that important as long as you don't touch them. You're not going to accidentally walk into enough aerosolized covid to absorb through your eyes - I mean if someone coughs right before you and generates a droplet cloud yeah maybe but that's a small risk I think. For the aerosolized transmission you need to intake it, breathe it inside you so it settles around.
