I started life on 7th hammer in ...... I think '00. Kunark had just come out.
That was pretty much when it came up. 7th was created as a server to house Bertox and Xegony players that wanted to transfer off their crowded servers. It was also one of the servers that long time Test players were able to be transferred to when they wiped it. Quite a few of the test players were actually not wiped and came over fully loaded with gear and unique spells. There was an Enchanter who was probably the only person on Live to have the Illusion: Gender spell. The gender swap was bugged and made you neutral to a ton of NPCs including most of Seb and Trak IIRC.

7th had some of the most unhinged players I've ever met in an MMO. The Blood Ember Greaves incident is probably one of my favorite stories in all of EQ. Like where else are you going to find a guild leader track down the net cafe where the rival guild leader played from and pay a random person to steal the account info so they could yank their VS pants.

Who remembers Ranadin or Bahia?
Ranadin was so over the top lol. I was in TDE during RoK and got to know him a little. He did a ton of crazy shit but he had a crazy work ethic and took care of the guild. He is probably one of the more infamous people to have ever played EQ. Bahia was either his wife or girlfriend I don't really remember but she was always super sweet.
