It was only said it's greedy when expecting it from untwinked newbies who literally can't afford to pay. If you're already dedicating some time to porting people and you are currently doing a port you may as well help them out by pressing a couple buttons to port them.

If you are mad because you aren't getting as much money as you would like from donations then simply set an asking price.
