As for the motive behind the investigation.... Looks like the FBI was inept in their handling of the investigation which is something that needs to be cracked down on and remedied, but political bias wasn't found.

Also, the Steele dossier was a compilation of opposition research contracted by Republicans during the primaries. The Hillary campaign hired the same company after Trump got the republican nomination to get access to that research. The dossier wasn't some big fabrication planned out by the democrats or whatever nonsense you imagine it to be.



Got any evidence for that claim? Or is it just your feelings? People in a position to know said there is nothing there. What do you know that they don't?



So your willingness to acknowledge Trump's wrongdoing is predicated on someone admitting something totally unrelated?

The Steele Dossier was the ONLY justification for the FISA reports

Agents working the case discovered that Steele was lying about everything, but continued to claim he was true in order to get more warrants.

Information that made the trump people look bad were included in their reports, but they didn't include the evidence they had that trumps' people were innocent.

the lower level agents systematically lied to their bosses about the evidence.

in some cases, the evidence (an e-mail) was tampered with to give it the exact opposite meaning. The e-mail, which showed that trumps people were innocent, was changed to make it say that they were guilty.

Once everyone in the FBI knew that the evidence was fake, that steele lied, etc, no one bothered to tell the FISA court.

Steele was caught lying to the FBI, and was eventually removed as a witness/source

Even after that, he worked with an FBI agent to pass more fake information through the FBI to the investigators.
