Druid.
A 20 something druids buffs can pl newbs 1-5. If you get the druid to 29 you start getting group ports and can pl ppl even higher than 5. No other class really offers much utility besides a clerics rez? Maybe necro corpse summoning? But that's required much less often. So yeah I'd vote druid
