Negative on that. It's the nice term and was specifically coined as an alternative to words like moron and idiot.

Can't ban everything. When I was in 5th grade, some of my classmates and I didn't like how we weren't allowed to say mild curse words, in the manner that ten year old boys tend to hate any sort of control. As a sort of protest we started saying "book" in place of banned words. Within a couple weeks we were getting in trouble for saying "book" in elementary school classrooms, up until parents complained about the lunacy of it and clearer heads prevailed.
