Definitely agree with you. Seafuries, for example, weren't nerfed to stop RMT they were nerfed because people are immature and couldn't play nice over them. There are tons of ways to farm a lot of plat in this game with ease if you know the spots, which many people do. Might take slightly longer than Seafuries, so you'll charge more per installment of platinum, but overall you'll still get that plat to sell pretty easily.
Buying plat is pretty easy to get caught doing, so kind of surprising that people even still try it, but to each their own I guess.
