Completed a 'dry run' with a Dwarf and I reached level 6 with a compliment of sharpened weapons and a full set of patchwork/tattered with 15p or so relatively quickly. Granted there wasn't much competition for decaying skeletons but bone chips can go a long way!
The problem is that now I'm in an awkward place where the newbie yard gives no XP or skill ups and giant snakes, scarabs, goblins & skeletons are a roll of the dice to solo in this gear. I guess at this point on green I'd have to start grouping as a melee (which is what I want to do anyhow).
