These people presented evidence of innocence leading to a finding of actual innocence and exoneration. That sounds kind of like the opposite of what you are saying.
Doesn't matter what the judge says. There is no legal standard for proving innocence so it's impossible to do in a court of law. I can find judges saying all sorts of stupid shit.
