It's really not about the color of skin as much as it is the rap-gangster culture.

It's a culture based on consumerism, sexism, and violence...

Most African-American's believe that their worth is only attributed to what they own and what they can get, fast cars, jewelry, video games etc. anything that they can own that they can show off gives them "status" and living in poor communities the only way you see to obtain this status is through theft, violence, selling drugs etc. because that gives you quick money and jobs are so few and require some sort of education or skill level.

Literally, the average African-American teen is amongst the most narcissistic and hedonist person in America due to that culture.
