Any tips for selling items?

Couple of points you need to know, EC re-sellers don't want you to know this.

(1) Posting on forum to sell will net you the lowest profit margin. It's good if you want to get rid of your items fast, but expect people to lowball you unless the item is super rare and high in demand.

(2) People in EC rarely buy at market price. It is usually those who doesn't want to spend time in EC waiting, or naive to think wiki price is firm. As a seller, these are the best customers you can deal with.

(3) You should notice in EC WTBs is significantly less than WTSs. You should know why that is happening and take advantage of it.

(4) Pay attention to the WTBs. I made tons of plat from WTBs, even if my char still needs the item. Just buy back the item at a lower price from another seller. Rethink point #3.

(5) Make an effort to monitor EC for at least 2 weeks (14 days). You will get an idea on what the true transaction prices are.

(6) There are many dumb EC resellers, remember their names and avoid them. Sell them items but never buy from them.

(7) Wiki price is playing listing price, not transaction price. Have you bought a car or house before? You don't pay MSRP or the house listing price. If you do then I can't help your sorry ass.
