To generate the images i am just finding an image of the base texture (untinted), then manually creating the mask areas in photoshop.
I then apply the RGB value of the armor tint according to ZAM in a new layer (set it to 'Multiply'), and it comes out looking like that. Thanks for the positive feedback!
