Spell files out of date

Hi there

I've played p99 for about a year, but keep deleting it and reinstalling just based on outside factors I won't get into here. That being said, I am running it on Ubuntu, and every other time I've had few issues.

This time around, I can't get my toons to load, and it says my spell files are out of date. I've downloaded and extracted the files to my EQ folder and replaced all. I've even moved my EQ folder to a different location.

I don't understand why it's not showing my toons given I've dealt with the patch properly. Any chance it would be my eqclient.ini file?
