It sounds like a wonderful quest, i wish there were more progressive quests like that in the game. I did my monk shackle quests and it took a bit of time /farming and i quickly outgrew it, but i had a great time doing it and felt very rewarding to complete it!

I think this Shoulder Item is a lot harder to outgrow. Even if you're in a high end raiding guild the Flowing Thought is limited or can be expensive or cost a lot of DKP. You can save that DKP and instead of prioritizing FT1, you can focus on hp/resists/mana, or gear out in a more creative path than Ft1, 2, 5.

In the end if you're striving for BIS then shoulders are really an alt item. Either way, fun quest - worth working on!
