The English dub for Death Note and Code Geass are both really good, I never had a desire to switch over to subs. Sword of the Stranger is also really good in English, in part because it makes it really obvious when certain characters are talking in their native language (Chinese) vs language the main characters are supposed to understand (for us, English, for where it was originally aired, Japanese).

Agreed that Cowboy Bebop's English dub was solid and GitS had a horrible English dub. I watched that FF7 Advent Children movie and it was kind of shitty regardless of what language, unless you're talking about the FF movie that came out waaaay back in theaters that completely bombed, in which case I can't really weigh in.

Skarlorn is spot on with literally everything he said, though Attack on Titan probably wins best anime opening theme song.

One Punch Man is awesome in Japanese, shitty English dub though. Can't wait for season 2. The animation in the fight scenes is incredible, and the soundtrack is pretty boss too.

Really out of all of them though, I can't recommend Code Geass enough. I love a really plot-heavy series, and that describes it very well. Practically every single episode is a cliffhanger.
