It is very helpful for helping get casters and preists closer to their soft cap, as well has having godly amounts of AC for tanks.

So far I only know warrior gear is blue, cleric is purple, shadow knight is red, bard is red, assuming Paladin is yellow? It will be interesting to see what textures and colors come from this as I am unfamiliar.

Dependent on race, it's bright blue for most paladin races but, same as the royal velium armor, it shows as green for high elves. Warrior's have the coolest set I've seen so far, faded slate blue. It'll be cool to see what the others look like as there aren't very many old screenshots of them for each race.
