After seeing a few posts putting Enchanter higher up in the rankings because of a charmed pet, why wouldn't a Bard also be higher up. Can't a bard charm just as well? Add melee damage on top of that, seems like maybe they should be at the top.

Cause a bard can't charm fight while doing the rest of their job effectively. Bards also can't haste their pet.



Enchanter pets are WTFPWN because they're hitting as hard as the mobs you're currently fighting (which will be harder then any character can hit), but with 60% haste. Then, as long as the enchanter can rely on their charm lasting a reasonable amount of time they're still able to perform their other job duties.
