Inquiry: Monk vs Rogue

I will probably roll a monk then. For some reason this post took days to actually show up. The only thing noone really answered unless I missed it was if rogue poisons were utilized in pvp. I assume since the skean proc doesn't land on people then the poisons wont either. Are all rogue poisons based on poison resist? Sounds like a stupid question but I know at times the resist system is wonky.
