We were fighting along side our English brother's in Italy/North Africa. Then pulled back to fight the Japs. 1/6th of our than nations population was in positions of service in the war effort.
Like Roosevelt said in his war speech, something along the lines of... "the world thinks American's are a bunch of pretty boys hiding on the sideline of this world war, but we will join them now." .....this was about 3 years after the war started.
Should.....learn a bit about your nations' history outside of Nukes and NFL.
