Default 46+ Wizards that don't have a sky neck...

Jeeze guys, you already made a massive fail by choosing to play a wizard as your class.

Don't compound this bad decision by failing to acquire an Amulet of the Void as soon as it is possible to do so.

Point 1: As a wizard you have one job. And only one job;

1a: don't fool yourself into thinking you are a 'utility' class with your roots and your stuns and your level 16 push nuke spam.

1b: don't fool yourself into thinking you are a dps class. You're barely even burst damage let alone dps.

1c: you aren't a general porter; druids do this and give the customer a cheeky sow to be on their way without having to carry around sow potions.

1d: your role is specifically porting people into the planes sky and hate. That is your job. This trinket lets you do so for a mere 60pp (200pp discount).

Point 2: when not attending to your true role, you are often gonna get into all sort of trouble and hijinks. Having an instant click teleport spell that costs a mere 60pp (basically equivalent to a single port donation from any decent player) can save the asses of you and/or the party stupid enough to group with you.

So yeah, if you don't have this absolute gem of an item and you are a wizard exceeding level 46 then you really need to re-evaluate your priorities and ask yourself if you really deserve the privilege of going afk for 15 minutes at a time just so you can spunk out all your mana in pitiful two minute bursts.

Wizards who do have this item: you're okay and you are doing an excellent job being social, providing ports, utlity and dps!
