Game freezing

My guild was raiding plane of fear and I zoned in, ran to the wall, then EQ froze. I restarted my computer and relogged in. Was able to look around in first person, but once I tried to engage with my guild it would freeze. Anyways kept freezing until finally I was able to get on long enough to get a TL out of Plane of Fear. I have never had an issues like this and haven't changed anything since starting on p99 2 years ago. Don't know if this is a common issue. Haven't tried to play since getting my TL to WC.
