Donations FAQ:

Q. Why do people use donations as threats, or attempt to hold them over your heads?
A. Because they mistakenly think we give a shit if people donate.

Q. Why don't you give a shit if we donate? I would rather pretend I donate and use it to claim you owe me something.
A. Because no one benefits from it but the players. 100% of it goes to the physical server and related services. It allows you to play on the server while we develop it. And we wouldn't have it any other way. The freedom to eject the jackasses and entitlement cases is worth far more than any monetary reward.

Q. How much does it cost to run the server?
A. A lot more than the $180 in the post from 2009.

Q. So if someone threatens not to donate because they're butthurt, who does it affect?
A. The players who do donate. We could VPN this shit.
