It's more like if you're watching a show that's supposed to be about science and instead you're getting dogma telling you to think in a very non-scientific way about barely relevant social issues.

And I don't mind the underlying message; if Bill Nye wants to use his show to promote his opinion about sexual orientation, that's fine. But the bit was just cringey, very cringey.
