When I recharge things I don't want to lose I do so with someone I trust (the wife) in out-of the way, empty places. To date I've lost nothing.

Some months ago I ran past one of the 'A' guilds--can't remember which anymore--doing their recharge breadline thing right in the middle of Thurgadin. Naturally they were polite towards their fellow player...oh wait, no, I was screamed at, threatened, and harassed for doing nothing more than walking past them in a crowded public zone. I don't care what tag floats over your character's head; you don't own the zone.
