This is slightly incorrect. The formula used means you'll only reach the highest chance of success (95%) a few skill levels after you hit trivial for something.

EX:
With a skill of 168 versus a trivial of 168 you have a success rate of 93.5%
With a skill of 169 versus a trivial of 168 you have a success rate of 94.5%
With a skill of 170 versus a trivial of 168 you have a success rate of 95%

Depending on trivial, it could be a matter of 1 skill point or 5 skill points.
