Wizard Epic Revamp & Staff of Gabstik

On my wizard I have a Staff of Gabstik, received from turning in the Mistletoe Powder from Tola pre-revamp to Kandin Firepot. I did not ever get a Cazic Skin (no surprise), so I do not have the bag or note.

Do I still need to do the broken golem part in Fear? If I am understanding the wiki page correctly, I will still need to re-do that part to get the note (and another Staff of Gabstik) so that I can spawn Arantir for the final turn in.

Or is there a different way to spawn Arantir? Can I just redo the Ro's Breath part, or is that not the "correct" version of Arantir for the final turn-in?
