Lol, idol camp is literally one mob next to a zone line. That isn't monopolizing anything. So your logic is that high level players shouldn't farm items they are going to use, but should instead buy them at exorbitant prices from low level characters? You do realize to buy idols they'd just need to farm else where, right?

No one cared about idols until raiders started using them en mass, and there is absolutely no reason why a high level character should be any less entitled to farming that mob than anyone else. The only reason the mob drops anything of value in the first place is because raiders use idols. Lowbies are welcome to price gouge if they want, but arguing they should have some exclusivity to the camp and that higher level players should pay them for idols is some backwards ass thinking.
OK, so high end characters/guilds are perfectly within their right to exclusively occupy entire XP zones like Chardok and charge exorbitant prices for proxies to get XP and epic drops but then they also have to occupy the low level camps as well because they can't afford the going rate for idols? Seems a bit absurd. That being said I'm not arguing for any exclusivity for anyone on anything.
