Some do appear to others people phones , but not all the time. I had a peekachu sp? stolen by a co worker today as we where both at pokemon stop. She was level 1 to my level 8. we both saw it on our phones but she was quicker.

It doesn't work that way. They move on with time but I was with a group yesterday, found a charmander caught it and yelled for everyone else to come over to get it. We were tracking a rhyhorn but it got away.
