This is a lot like saying "just pick Christianity, Judaism, or Islam."

Yeah, look at where that has gotten the world. There's no point in adhering to outmoded, broken systems. Evolve.

Everquest PvP servers were never especially popular and the ONLY way to make a p99 Red server successful is going to be through alteration and innovation; creating an entirely better product rather than adhering to "classic". They already have a box that is meant to be as hard-coded classic as possible and can sit around as a historical document. Any other server should be about providing a product that is objectively fun and engaging, while keeping the general spirit of what Everquest was meant to be and naturally should have evolved into.

We've seen for years and years the state of the Red server. Activity increased with the exp bonus, LnS + PvP level range, global chat, and Velious...but it wasn't sustainable because the basic problem is there's nothing worth playing for. There's no real PvP that happens, and it doesn't much matter the times it rarely does happen, and all of the classic content has been released and played through. People got to see the things in the game they hadn't been able to previously. There's no point in sitting around farming more gear. For what purpose? Nobody fucking cares, there's nothing to use it for. It's a WASTE of life.
