You sound like the woman who starts dating the guy who says "I don't want kids and I am never getting married" - 2 years into the relationship you start going crazy because this guy doesn't want kids and wont marry you. Everyone knows what this server is when they start, its a nostalgia game and not meant for any type of progression or to consume your entire life.
The only reason I play this server is because I know the server is locked and the gear I get will always be what it is.
Sounds like a sharp dose of "WTF have I been doing with my life" just smashed you in the face when you realized all this gear you are gathering is essentially pointless. Roll alts until you stop having fun then move along to a new game.
