Introduction

Hi all,

Like P99 players, I played EQ Classic. I started somewhere between Kunark and Velious at 13. I played off and on throughout high school with a RL buddy whenever I could secure my parents' credit card for another month. I remember that time as filled with wonder and enjoyment, mixed with periods of disappointment at being unable to fully participate in the game due to my parents' apprehension.

In college, I started my account back up with my own credit card and played a Dwarf Cleric to the mid 50s, which was my highest character by far. After that, I fell prey to the wiles of WoW and other modern MMOs, and the rest is history (and a quite familiar one for many, I suspect).

Now as an adult with a job and family, I find myself lacking in social interaction outside work and I'm looking to fill that gap.

So I'm hoping to join a guild and find some other new returning players and, on a whole, join this community. I should be starting tonight. I'll try to remember to edit the post to add the name. If anyone wants to collaborate to make a duo that would be cool too! Looking forward to the experience.
