sontalak will never die on red, Empire had probably the best possible shot at killing him. Blue uses some 30-40 rogue zerg ontop of the 50-60 man heal/tank army. Colgate never got an abashi sure, but anyone who goes up 1v1 on him should be somewhat fucking scared considering monk mitigation + the gear he has is almost best in slot 90%. He can probably beat most people to death with just gharns/wraps. and yes he does have an aon....
a well geared monk is among the top people I would not want to fight as a melee, as a caster they aren't going to be dodging, blocking, riposting, parrying, or missing lures. The caster is just going to need an extra few nukes with all that +100hp per item slot. A kunark era monk can tank stuff fairly well already just because of the mitigation. Add velious AC/HP to that and GG.
Also when tempest downs vulak, I claim Mrylokar's dagger first of thy name Banksy. It WILL drop. If it doesn't have the fucking backstab modifier I will be pissed though, Also on blue its currently 12/17 or something iirc its not the final version.
