Even if it was 5 million judgement, its getting appealed...nevermind 55 million.

I'm not a Tort lawyer but I know there is some law against ridiculous numbers that don't match the case.

My friends wife had her life destroyed by a car accident malfunction and had permanently scarring surgery on her face. They sought 9 million case went on for 5 years and ended up with 750,000 after fees and the judges discretionary reduction on what is basically an "automatic" appeal.

The big judgments you nerds read are face value for the press to sex it up for the couch potatoes. Keep jerking to those numbers. She is lucky to get 500k on appeal given the success she has had as a result of the video. I'd point out the benefits, focus on the fact this only did emotional damage. That is worth MAYBE a few million at best going by other porn tape civil suit precedents.

I know a famous porn tape suit did completely go sideways and the full award of like 6 million was ordered by the judge. Rare as fuck.
