Ubuntu + Wine working great, except mouselook?

Of course I have one tiny issue: when I use mouselook (hold right click) to look around, I'm restricted to a ~270 degree arc instead of the 360+ degree arc I get in Windows 10. playing in full screen will fix this issue, at least it did for me. there be a few posts about it here somewhere in the tech forum.

then again I had to revert back because for whatever reason the mouse would occasionally go batshit crazy and spin me round and round like a top.
