You have a vid/audio/1st hand account reference on that? "use them if they approach"? Because all the cries I've heard were about peaceful protests.

However, of course, that David guy today shot off his mouth (that chick was driving him crazy hah), though he just said no one will get hurt if they don't rush him. It made me think for a moment at the time if he meant they would get hurt or just he would get hurt. Oh but then he said he'd shoot himself... so guess that doesn't count either.

Oh here is something:
Ammon Bundy, the man leading armed protesters in the takeover of a federal building on a wildlife refuge in Oregon, said in an interview late Sunday night that the group doesn't want a confrontation with law-enforcement officials, but would defend itself if necessary.

“We have no intention of being aggressive at all,” Mr. Bundy said by telephone. “We would not fire on them unless they fired on us.”

Well there that's really odd.... "unless they fire on us". Hmmm... seems different than "if they approach" to me anyway it does.
