Training should be allowed on Red. By association, causing EXP death should be allowed (or enabled for PvP deaths, or removed entirely depending on whether it's needed). It's one of the best unconventional methods for dealing with larger groups and better-geared players. The fact that it's now allowed is one of the things which protects petition-questing, zerg-raiding bluebies from having to engage in PvP.
- Yes, this will result in OOR Bards, Monks, etc. training lowbies. No, that's not a big deal, because players can deal with it by switching characters or calling for help.
- There will be a lot of raid disruption and unconventional tactics. It'll be great.
- The game's mechanics allow it, so it shouldn't be against the rules of conduct.
- One less thing for people to petition about, less petition quest and more time for the GMs to handle more important stuff.
- Funny, crazy good times. Good stories to tell about that time you survived getting trained, or your group managed to steal a raid target and barely make it out with loot.
The server needs fewer rules of conduct. Don't protect players from each other; this is the Red server.
