Mage Epic pet vs Water pet

Really curious about this.

Obviously in 6 man content the advantages of epic pet blow the water away.

On a raid where dps is the only consideration which will do more damage? Let's assume that the water pet will be in position to land it's backstabs 80% of the time and that the epic pet can land it's procs.
