Yea this is a valid point. I don't understand why they didn't go with item loot out the gate... I know that I read that nilbog is an ex rallos zek player, so I assume that he supports it. It would have cut down on fungi twinks quite a bit if they had the potential to lose it. The item loot dynamic worked well on Rallos all the way up until LDoN added the ability to make every piece of gear no drop by adding augments.

Adding level restrictions to epics definitely helped, but it wasn't enough on its own.

This is also true, but I feel like it's a moot point. The biggest problem is that the most die-hard of players here don't give a damn about anyone else playing. Just as we saw with Nihilum, there'd be 30-50 players logging in for raids even if there was literally nobody else left on the server. There's something very wrong with that mentality.
