@OP - I play an Iksar SK on Red and it's awesome. the AC and Regen I don't regret picking iksar one bit. Originally I went Dark Elf and I looked like a badass but I got a lot of crap about picking dark elf. Before I started on red I weighted what I wanted to do and what challenges I'd face. dark elf felt the most right for me at start. it had hide, higher int for spells. But then I learned SK gets hide and the DE Int bonus is just a hit to their total HP pool in the end, in reality. So while iksar is close to human stats, the regen and ac bonus actually has really helped me level faster and with more fun. Mind you I solo play during low pop.
