Yet people were fairly rewarded in nihilum for their time and after the heat/stress of raids the duke would treat you with respect.

Even when everyone was flaming the duke about you being in the guild and went ahead with booting you, he still made time to talk to you about it over TS.

That was more of a luxury than what empire offered me for all my hours and thousands of plat worth of plat I've spent on guild CRs over time.
